This page offers a number of links related to recent coup activity.  The specific goal is to provide online documentation for the events coded in our dataset, but I hope to more generally provide a snapshot of civil-military relations in the world.  Consequently, a few of the events found below did not meet our definition of a coup are are not included in the dataset (e.g., the purported coup plot in Bangladesh in December 2011).  I include them here because they may still be of interest to those studying civil-military relations.  Please consult the dataset for a events that meet our definition of a coup.
